Sadly here is the most creative thing I did this week, a Pillsbury man I made out of leftover Pillsbury pie dough... well it made my sister happy.

Shane Prigmore you're my hero!

I was looking at fantastic Shane Prigmore art with that broken-hearted I'll never be able to do that feeling, so I decided to fix up some nicer photoshop brushes and draw the snowman outside (in true aussie fashion he does like his beer).

So basically the idea of 11 second club is to animate to a predetermined piece of dialogue. You can listen to it here:

So I've decided to animate an angry little Napoleon, talking to some pancakes.. sort of. Here are pictures of Napoleon and said pancakes.

3d version... rigged and ready to go.. just need some hair and moustache.

Mushroomy men

The beardy face is the one I'm using for the final leshii.. though he can turn into a wolf with a suit on when he pleases, that'll be a bit hard to animate but what the hey! Right now I'm texturing the little mushroom men that live on his back.

Leshii drawing

A Leshii is a kind of forest spirit in Russian pagan belief. Some people still believe in him but mostly it's just a part of fairy tales. He's usually a little old man who seems mischievous and sometimes evil, only because he's protecting his forest. In fairy tales he'll often help the hero so long as he doesn't harm the forest.

I'm not great at long drawings, I get bored too fast, as you can see there are bits that I just got sick of, you can tell what I did last cuz I couldn't be bothered. It's one of the first drawings I've done completely on the computer though, a bit weird but good practice.

I bought some groovy new Docs in Melbourne kind of on a whim 'cuz the salesman knew what he was on about. Nice detail!

This is my favourite photo from Melbourne. Look look they're pushing, he's a-coming to Australia.. oh and there's a seagull on 'is head.

Didn't really do any 'drawing' while I was in melbourne, just doodles, mostly of speakers from the animation conference. Here are a few.

Sparrow!

This is a drawing I did for Jacky's birthday. I started with the sparrow, which I got the idea for from 'Mindgame'. It's pretty dark and it's got a lot of detail so look at the full picture instead of the preview. I wish I had time to put in a lot more snakes.

I probably won't have time to do anything exciting drawing-wise because I'll be marking class stuff, and then going to Melbourne for MIAF. But see you after that with some Uber-inspiration!

here's some old pictures I did on Artrage I thought I'd take away off my god-forsaken myspace. They're all the sketched-out children of procrastination.

Me and ma coat!

Yay.. I bought a nice new coat.. so I drew a picture of our time together. I've always been a bit bad at self portraits, I can't really tell if it looks like me, something's amiss.. as you can tell I got a bit lazy by the time I did the hands, hence the disillusioned mess with the fingers.
**fixed the colour a bit and (thanks to nomis) made the eyes look a bit better, though you can't tell in this mini-pic anyway.
