Photoshop Watercolour Sky

Tried to create some watercolour paintbrushes in Photoshop today. Here's my first ever attempt at digital watercolour.. pretty horid but it'll get better (we hope).

Kikimara

I drew this in my lunch break yesterday.. my dad kept telling me I looked like a kikimara... I didn't really know what it was, but it's a sort of Russian mythical creature. She's the daughter of the Vadinoy (a water demon of sorts) and she sits in the forest and goes 'hoo-hoo' to scare away people so they don't hurt the forest. I don't know what one looks like, except that she has messy hair because that's why dad called me 'kikimara'. So here is my rendition.
She has stolen a pretty lady's scarf to make herself look more lady-like.

Illustration Friday : "Neighbour"

Here's a sketch I did last night for the "Neighbour" theme of illustration friday. I live in an apartment and the only neighbours I really get to know are the pidgeons that sit on my slanted window.

Here I am trying to start another blog... or at least somewhere for some of my pictures to live.

Here's a girl I drew night before last. Looks a bit too anime, I don't like the eyes especially. But still fun to do.
